Shirley Anne (nee Muscroft)(Retired Physical Education Teacher)
Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday May 20, 2023 at the age of 86. Shirley, beloved wife of the late John Buchanan. Loving mother of Debra Murfitt (Scott) and Jodi Amis (Steve). Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Chad and Justin. Proud great grandmother of Jane, Kat, Logan and Arthur. Loved sister of George Muscroft (Eleanor), June Cregan (Ian predeceased), Connie Buchanan (predeceased) and Jim Muscroft (Melinda). Dear friend of the late Charles Alan Barker. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Shirley had a passion for children, she enjoyed her years teaching and then spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had many interests, kayaking, gardening, cross country skiing, line dancing and coaching gymnastics to name a few. She was an accomplished pianist obtaining her conservatory level diploma. Her door was always open, she loved being with friends and family.
